We are celebrating our 30th Anniversary of this magical festive event. The Optimist Club of Orangeville has been bringing you Christmas in The Park for 30 years! It started with a few seniors stringing a few lights on a few trees at the park across the street from the Seniors Centre on Bythia. It has since grown to include fantastic illuminated characters, millions of dazzling lights, music, entertainers of all sorts, hot drinks served by local scouts and churches, and many delightful community displays! A free month-long event that draws over 24,000 visitors a year. With the help of volunteers and funding by generous sponsors, Christmas in The Park at Kay Cee Gardens is a holiday tradition for our community and beyond.
In the spirit of keeping everyone safe from Covid we will not be providing a sitting Santa for photographs in our sleigh, but you may find other festive folks wandering about. You’re welcome to take your own pics in our beautiful sleigh.
As always the park is free and open to the public from 5:30 to 10:00 every evening in December, except when weather prevents it. For more info follow us on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. #OptimistCiTP30
